As our current Executive Director/Client Service Representative will be retiring, we are offering the position to our community. Since 1947, the Cerebral Palsy Association of Colorado Springs (CPACS) has supported individuals and families affected by cerebral palsy and other abilities, Now, as we enter a new chapter, we are seeking a passionate and visionary leader to help us rebuild, re-imagine, and revitalize our mission.
CPACS is seeking a dynamic, compassionate, and entrepreneurial Executive Director / Client Services Representative to lead the organization forward. This dual-role position combines strategic leadership with hands-on client engagement. The right candidate will be a self-starter who can creatively develop programs, build partnerships, and secure funding while directly supporting individuals living with cerebral palsy and other challenges and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations, programs, and client services.
- Provide direct support and advocacy for individuals and families affected by special needs.
- Lead fundraising efforts through grants, sponsorships, events, and community partnerships.
- Build and strengthen community relationships to raise awareness of CPACS.
- Develop and implement marketing and outreach strategies.
- Ensure compliance with nonprofit policies, reporting, and state/federal regulations.
- Recruit, manage, and support staff, volunteers, and board members.
- Help reestablish a strong and engaged Board of Directors.
Ideal Candidate
- Creative problem-solver who can work independently and think outside the box.
- Experienced in leadership, client services, or community outreach.
- Strong communicator and relationship builder with compassion for the special needs community.
- Comfortable working in a grassroots or startup-style environment.

Compensation: $20/hour – approximately 20+ hours per week
